What is InSite Training Tool (ITT)? InSite Training Tool, or ITT, is football’s leading head impact monitoring system. ITT collects and analyzes on-field head impacts, while also alerting sideline staff to a typical impact events. ITT includes an easy-to- use web-based platform that utilizes team impact data to build individualized impact profiles. ITT also includes an advanced practice planning tool and provides a data-driven approach to managing athletes by identifying training opportunities based on head impact data.

What info does ITT collect? ITT collects head impacts for players to build individual impact profiles which can then be reviewed by sideline staff.

How does ITT work?
How does ITT work? Helmets are outfitted with a five-zone sensor pad that monitor head impacts. If a single impact or a collection of impacts exceeds a predetermined position specific threshold staff is alerted via their InSite handheld alert monitor. Every five minutes, Head Impact Exposure (HIE) data is collected by the alert monitor and uploaded to the ITT web platform. Once in the system, the tool analyzes team head impact data and identifies unique training opportunities, allowing staff to manage practice plans and create individual player reports based on unique impact data.

What is Head Impact Exposure (HIE)? Head Impact Exposure, or HIE data, is the collection of head-impacts categorized by location and magnitude. HIE data is the foundation for ITT impact profiles and is used to provide training opportunities to team staffs using the tool.
