Major Updates in v1.30

  • Automatic Player Unit Updates:
    • Alert Monitors may go through an automatic update process when plugged in during an ISPM software session.
    • Player Units added to a team through ISPM software will automatically update to the latest release of Player Unit firmware.
      • The red and yellow LEDs will flash rapidly during this process for approximately 30 seconds.
      • Player Units must stay in close proximity to the computer until the firmware update is complete.

Limitations in v1.30

  • USB 3.0 port compatibility:
Certain USB 3.0 ports may exhibit communication errors during Alert Monitor firmware updates and prevent the update from succeeding. It is recommended that USB 2.0 ports be used when available.
  • Mac OSX 10.11 (El Capitan):
Unplugging an Alert Monitor when the software is running may cause the software to shut down in certain cases.
    • Should this happen, restart the software and continue. All changes made prior to the software shutdown are retained.
